What is the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme?

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) helps businesses reduce the capital costs of installing a workplace EV charger – to promote cleaner and greener methods of transport.

Designed to help SMEs and fleets accelerate their EV journey, the WCS grant is capped at a maximum of £350 per charger for up to 40 sockets per applicant.

The grant is provided by the government Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), which has now been renamed to Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).

Do I qualify for the WCS grant?

Any business, charity or public authority can apply for the WCS grant.

You must own the property or have installation consent from the landlord.

Dedicated off-street parking is accessible by staff and/or vehicles.

Workplace EV chargers must be installed by an OZEV-approved installer.

How does the Workplace Charging Scheme work?

Apply online now – and we will help to oversee your application.

The Workplace Charging Scheme operates on a voucher basis.

If your application is successful, your voucher code will be sent by email.

You can then present this to an OLEV-approved installer – like N&P EV charging!

Your installer will use the voucher to claim the grant once the install is complete.

Each voucher is valid for 120 days from the date of issue.

How do I claim the WCS grant?

Fill in our online form and we’ll ensure your application is correctly submitted.

If you have trouble doing this, get in touch and our experts will guide you through the process.

For complete peace of mind, all our installations come with a five-year warranty.
